Experienced part/full time line chef positions starting $17-$21/hour with potential for a salaried position after 90 days.

We are an independently owned chef-driven restaurant that specializes in seasonal menu changes, and catering private events and parties. Our establishment offers a neighborhood-oriented environment with consistent year-over-year growth. We take pride in our highly skilled kitchen staff who have remained with us for over a year, which speaks volumes about our reputation in the industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced part to full-time line chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience working on sautés, garde manger, and grill stations. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role.

As a line chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and efficiency. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality dishes to our guests. Working hours are primarily during the evening, with some daytime shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure the timely delivery of dishes
  • Ensure that all dishes are properly plated and presented
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on sautés, garde manger, and grill stations
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and standards
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team
  • Consistency, punctuality, cleanliness, organization, and reliability are highly valued
