Experienced part/full time line chef positions starting $17-$21/hour with potential for a salaried position after 90 days.
We are an independently owned chef-driven restaurant that specializes in seasonal menu changes, and catering private events and parties. Our establishment offers a neighborhood-oriented environment with consistent year-over-year growth. We take pride in our highly skilled kitchen staff who have remained with us for over a year, which speaks volumes about our reputation in the industry.
We are currently seeking an experienced part to full-time line chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience working on sautés, garde manger, and grill stations. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role.
As a line chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and efficiency. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality dishes to our guests. Working hours are primarily during the evening, with some daytime shifts available.
Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure the timely delivery of dishes
Ensure that all dishes are properly plated and presented
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies when necessary
Minimum 3 years of experience working on sautés, garde manger, and grill stations
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and standards
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team
